Automation / AI Audit

You suspect AI could give your team hours back every week. You are probably right. The hard part is knowing which processes to tackle first — and whether each one needs an expensive custom build or just a better prompt. The Audit answers that, with evidence.

The deliverable

A prioritised map, not a wish list.

Most firms waste their first AI project on the wrong process — something visible but low value, or something that quietly needed a full custom build. The Audit stops that. You get a clear, written picture of where automation and AI actually pay off in your operation, and the order to approach them in.

How it runs

Four steps, no disruption.

  1. 1

    Discovery

I sit with your team and watch the actual work — the tools, the hand-offs, the little workarounds nobody documents. This is where the real opportunities hide.

  2. 2

    Mapping

Every repetitive process is captured and written down plainly, so we are all looking at the same picture of how the business really operates today.

  3. 3

    Classification

Each process is assigned a level and scored on effort versus impact. This is the discipline that keeps you from over-building — the smallest honest fix wins.

  4. 4

    Roadmap & walkthrough

You get a written report and a live walkthrough. Quick wins first, sequenced sensibly, with rough costs — a plan you could hand to any competent builder, including me.

Who it's for

You will get the most from this if…

  • You know AI could help but have no confident answer to "what first?"
  • You have been pitched an expensive build and want a second, independent read.
  • Your team keeps asking for tools and you want to stop guessing.
  • You operate in a regulated or sensitive-data environment and need any plan to respect that from day one.
Common questions

Questions people ask.

Do I have to build with you afterwards?

No. The roadmap is yours to keep and stands on its own. You can run it in-house, hand it to another supplier, or bring me back for the build. There is no obligation baked into the Audit.

How long does it take?

It depends on the size of the operation, but most audits run over a small number of sessions and land the written roadmap shortly after. We scope the timeline on the first call.

Will it disrupt the team?

Minimal. The discovery is mostly observation and short conversations that fit around the working day. Nothing gets changed during the Audit — it is diagnosis, not surgery.

What about our data and compliance?

Handled with care from the outset. I have spent a decade in financial advice and banking; every recommendation is made with data protection, GDPR and audit-trail requirements in mind, and I will flag anything that needs a compliance conversation before it goes near a build.
